On the other hand, summer is extremely hot and unsuitable for visiting the city.

Sevilla is a large city with a population of about 700,000 people. This lovely city, the capital of Andalusia, serves as southern Spain’s artistic, cultural, financial, economic, and social hub.

The city is located a few miles inland, along the Guadalquivir River.

Malta has long been a bridge between European and African civilizations due to its location.

Malta boasts a plethora of tourist attractions.

There are excellent prehistoric remains, medieval monuments and fortresses, and natural aspects of importance. The main tourist draw, though, is the sea.

The archipelago’s islands boast stunning coastal vistas. Popular seaside resorts include Sliema, Saint Julian’s, and St. Paul’s.

However, the most magnificent sea in Malta may be seen on the islands of Gozo and Comino.

Cartagena, Colombia

Cartagena de Indias has a typical tropical climate, with hot weather all year and no seasonal variation. Seasonal variations occur only in the amount of rain that falls, not in the temperature.

Based on rainfall, we may differentiate between two seasons: the hot and dry period between November and April, when it seldomly rains; in fact, the wet days are only five on average over these six months.

While the rainy season is hot and humid between May and October, the average number of wet days is 90. October is the wettest month.

Cartagena de Indias is one of the earliest Spanish settlements in South America, having been founded in 1533 by the Spanish adventurer Pedro de Heredia.

It quickly became one of the largest ports in Spanish America due to its location in a well-protected bay along the Caribbean Sea.

The Spanish built an extensive network of fortifications to protect Cartagena de Indias’ port and trade.

This defensive construction included 11 kilometers of walls and the impressive Castillo San Felipe de Barajas.

As a result, the Algarve has become Portugal’s most popular tourist destination.

The Algarve is not just about the water and the beaches but also cultural tourism.

Sundarbans National Park, India

Because of the richness of this mangrove ecosystem, the Sunderban National Park is a biosphere reserve, a national park, and a tiger reserve all at the same time.

The Sunderbans is a vast delta that spans 40,000 square kilometers between India and Bangladesh.

Consider this to give you a sense of how large it truly is. It runs from the Hooghly River in West Bengal, India, to the Baleswar River in Bangladesh.

Marseille, France

Marseilles is a city that just recently became more accessible to tourists.

It is the “oldest city in France” and one of the oldest cities in Western Europe.

Massalia was founded approximately 600 BC and quickly became an important port in the ancient Greek civilization.

It was a key site of transition and trade between the civilizations of the Mediterranean and those of Gaul and northwest Europe for the Greeks and, subsequently, for the Romans.

Since then, Marseilles’ function has practically been the same.

It has long been one of France’s most important, if not the most important port, located near the mouth of the Rhone River.

It is the most significant natural corridor between the Mediterranean and the lands to the north – a role that explains its importance and size, as France’s third largest urban area, to this day.

Off-season travel to Marseille (approximately November through March) has a few advantages, including quieter, less crowded conditions, lower plane and train costs and accommodation rates, and possibilities to experience the city from a more local perspective.
